Another weekly edition of Ken’s Corner from 3L… this week a little hip hop history into the original hiphop beef… Queens vs. Brooklyn!
From the homies at 3L comes another installment of Ken’s Corner mixed up by the ever funky Kenny Alscott. This edition has a heaping helping of Wu Tang samples reverse engineered from their first album 36 Chambers. Bump.
I visited the future and all I got was this lousy Robot Prostitute. The title immediately strikes me as Dickian ( in the theme of Phillip K. Dick) but that could be brain taking this where it wants to go. It seems Belligerator has traveled into the future and brought back the whole album “Next Year’s Music” just for us. Check it out, available on their bandcamp site!
Friends of Realize and fucking awesome people, the Religious Girls, are booking their 4th ‘Merica wide tour now and need your help! They have to raise funds to “fix up their tour van, rage SXSW (their 2nd time playing there), make it to NYC to record their new full length album “I Want To Believe,” and hopefully come visit and play for you in your state!” But I think they can say it best for themselves… Check these dudes out on indiegogo.com/religiousgirls and donate.

The doods from Bears Bears Bears have been toiling for countless hours to try and get the finishing touches on their next album ” All Dressed Up With Nowhere to Go”. And while the knobs of the fine adjustment switch are being tuned, they pre-released two songs to hold us over for the next few weeks until the final product is finished! Find em here: BEARSBEARSBEARS I get a little taste of Interpol in the back of my brain when I hear these two songs, along with a strong twist of bay area spice we call originality. Stay tuned for the actual release dates, and a wave of shows to share the jams in a real person manner! Keep on creating!
